How it works in 5 easy steps

The easiest way to shop zero waste.

Buy the groceries you normally get at the supermarket, 100% zero waste.

We make it easy by taking care of the whole zero waste bit. All you need to do is choose your products!

Here's how it works in five easy steps.

Step one:

Check your postcode to find out your delivery day.

I screenshot showing an example of successfully completing the postcode check. It says "We deliver to your area on Friday" with a button to "continue shopping".

weekly.shop is a regular weekly delivery service on a flexible subscription.

It's a bit like a veg box, milkman or meal kit service and like them we deliver to different areas on different days. We'll offer more delivery day choice as we grow.

Step two:

Add products to your basket, create an account and checkout by entering your payment details.

We don't take payment immediately, we take it at the order cut off each week (9am the day before delivery).

You're in control: edit, skip or cancel your delivery at any time until the cut off each week.

Here's an example of the timings for a Friday delivery:

Step three:

Edit your order right up to the cut off. You can set every product to come on it's own schedule, or even as one-offs.

Step four:

Your order is delivered in reusable cotton bags. You'll need to be in to receive it and we'll have emailed to let you know when to expect us.

Store your products in the fridge or cupboard and consume them like normal, keep the containers until they are empty (no need to decant), at which point pop them back into the cotton delivery bags for us to collect when we make your next delivery.

Step five:

When we deliver your next order, we collect any empties (no rush, each week we just collect what's empty so far).

We bring them back to our CleanFill Hub to be cleaned and used again.

The CleanFill Hub

We operate from our CleanFill Hub, where we:

  • Run our electric cargo bikes for delivery and collection
  • Process inbound dirty containers, removing our MagicLabels
  • Clean containers to cleaner-than-new using our industrial kit, with hygiene swabs and more for safety.
  • Apply our MagicLabels and fill containers with products
  • Put the orders together and get them out the door
  • Manage our ZeroTrace system, which all our containers are part of. They are each given a unique ID that tracks them over every stage of their life. The CleanFill Hub is where we laser etch the ID's onto the containers as QR codes.

Each week when you make your order, this is what happens at our end:
